Autodesk UK Conference - Novotel, Hammersmith, London

This event was forecast to be the largest gathering of Autodesk users in the UK - and it didn't disappoint. The conference was held at the Novotel Hotel in Hammersmith, West London on Wednesday 2nd November 2005 and was attended by both David Maltby and Andy Roberts. The event, sponsored by Hewlett Packard, was designed to allow customers to develop and enhance their relationship with Autodesk and its technologies.

AutodeskAmong the speakers were Autodesk CEO, Carol Bartz, who discussed the future strategy of Autodesk including its continuing emphasis on 3D and Lynn Allen (Autodesk Technical Evangelist) who as always delivered her presentation of forthcoming AutoCad 2006 and long awaited future enhancements in an infectious enthusiastic manner. She rates as one of the best technical speakers we have seen.

Novotel London WestFollowing lunch, breakout sessions looked at integrating Autodesk's solutions across complete projects, in the individual areas of infrastructure, manufacturing, visualisation and building.

The conference was an excellent opportunity for all attendees to enhance their day-to-day and overall productivity, build on their skills and get advice first-hand from Autodesk development and technical experts, roll on next year which has been set for Wednesday 25th October 2006.
